The Grey Concept.
Let's talk reality. Not everything is ever black and white. As a kid, I used to hate professor Snape. I was always terror-stricken when he came on screen. It wasn't just me but every other kid, ob....viously. Sir Alan rickman was *cries on non-usage of 'is'* (Rest in peace, sir.) that good of an actor. Sorry to bore you, non-potter heads. Anyway , as we grew up we realized there's another side to this. Professor wasn't all that bad. He wasn't all that black. ( No racist jokes.) Although he wore black robes, he had some good within him. Not just by the end but....wait for it.... ALWAYS. *I'll rot in pop culture references.*
My point is, kids see things as black and white. A person is either noble or a villain. But our experiences make us see things as grey. Not everyone is purely good at heart. Everyone sins differently. Maybe your sins are not bad enough. But that's again a perspective and you don't get to judge others for their sins. I read somewhere , opposite of love is not hate. It's apathy. It means you don't care what the other person is going through.
Just like that, person may not be categorized as just kind or rude. There has to be a middle ground where we can agree to disagree that all of us are grey at hearts. Grey doesn't have to be a bad thing. We just know that there's good in everything even if bitterness exists.
Life is grey and so are you.
